Cassie Wells Bridges is a 1998 honor's graduate of Lawrence County High School. After graduation, Mrs. Bridges went on to Jackson State University where she earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements to teach students in all subjects, grades kindergarten through 8th, and in Mathematics and English grades 7-12. Following graduation, she began her teaching career at Crystal Springs Middle School, where she taught for three years. She was then offered a teaching position at Prentiss Jr./Sr. High School where she also taught for three years. While teaching in Prentiss, she earned her Master of Education from Belhaven College. After her stint at Prentiss Jr./Sr. High School, Mrs. Bridges taught Albebra I and English II at Lawrence County High School for two and a half years. She then received an administrative endorsement and worked as an Assitant Principal at Lawrence County High School. Currently, she is the principal of Rod Paige Middle School and is actively working on her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.
When asked what she's passionate about, Cassie will tell you that she loves children and that she is passionate about teaching. She believes in challenging children to be the best that they can be by striving to reach their potential in all areas of life. She continuously looks for ways to help children to receive the best possible education that they can when they walk through the doors of the school.
Cassie is the wife of Patrick Bridges, who is also a Lawrence County High School graduate, and they have two daughters, Jordyn Arianna and Laicie Alexandria. She and her family are residents of Silver Creek, MS.
